Daniel J. Marelli left Rutgers University in 1986 to assist with the start-up of a New Jersey based staffing concern specializing in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. After two years of successful recruiting Daniel was promoted to Manager of Sales, supervising and training a staff of seven. Daniel’s work in medical devices led to new business in plastics. In 1987, Daniel began working optical disk markets. In 1990 Daniel was recruited to strengthen the technical division at a major consulting firm. While Director of Sales, Daniel continued to build his own client base servicing the tape/disc arena. Daniel realized a great deal of success during the early days of CD mastering and replication and was able to cultivate lasting relationships with both candidates and corporate clients. By 1996 Daniel had developed such a strong reputation that he found himself being pursued by executive search firms and human resources departments. In order to expand his technical knowledge and diversify his clientele, Daniel joined a telecommunications and IT recruiting firm as a senior consultant in October of 1996. With the advent of DVD and other technologies emerging from the CD community, Daniel started Marelli Multimedia Search, Inc. in February of 1999 and serves as the small, boutique firm’s President and CEO. Daniel has contributed to industry watch articles in Tape Disc Business and hosted the first Career Center at Replitech North America. A regular advertiser with One to One, Medialine and Tape Disc Business, Marelli Multimedia casts a wide net. With an associate based in Research Triangle Park, NC and a West Sussex UK satellite office, Marelli Multimedia Search can fulfill national and international assignments at all levels. |
